Tina's Talks Is Back In Session - And We're Better Than Ever

I'm sure questions have risen about my whereabouts, and in all honesty, I have no excuse. I got lazy and forgot my purpose for this blog; but my spark came back when my acceptance letter came in. Remember this post: Am I going to be an Orange? 🤔?

Cue the dramatic pause.

I got accepted, and I am currently attending Syracuse University on an academic scholarship. I did it. I'm an Orange🍊!

I'll be honest: with the original plan of having to go to Cincinnati, my spark for this blog extinguished. Everything in me wanted to attend Syracuse and make Mr. K proud - even though I know he's proud no matter where I go. It was also self expectations. High standards that I placed on myself that I failed to meet all because I had this dream in mind that, at the time, I failed to achieve. Eight days before the decision deadline, I get an email from Syracuse University stating I've been given another scholarship.

Those words, "Dear Latina," rekindled that motivation I had at the beginning of this. It sparked my creative flow and brought back to life my dream of making this blog mine.

So we're back. We're back and we're in Haven Hall at Syracuse University.
