Spooky Season, Extra Teeth, and Anchoring,

Happy last day of September, everyone! Tomorrow marks the beginning of my favorite season - spooky season. It's weird because I'm not a big fan of horror movies; I used to get nightmares whenever my mom watched The Walking Dead with me in the room. When I say I love Halloween, I mean I like the history behind the holiday and the fall vibes it gives.
Halloween used to be marked as a Celtic tradition. It was viewed as the day that marked the end of Summer and the beginning of the harsh winter. The night of Halloween, or All Hallows Eve, was thought to be the one time of year when the veil between the living world and the one of the dead was the thinnest. That's where dressing up came from; it was a way to ward off ghosts!
And, also, Halloween is just the best part of fall: carved pumpkin, festivals, pumpkin spice - the whole nine yards. Fall officially begins on the first of October, for me.
On the topic of spooky stuff...I kind of have a tooth growing in from the roof of my mouth...freaky, I know. It doesn't hurt, oddly enough. It just feels like there's something stuck at the top.
On Friday of last week, I anchored WCATV's Morning Show for the first time since last year. I anchored K's Korner, which was previously known as The Claw Zone.
It felt like home, as weird as that sounds. I've never felt more at home than when I was under the lights of the studio. Speaking to a live audience just feels natural to me, and I'm kind of sad I had to give some of it up this school year.
I'm not giving up all of it, though. I'm not leaving Dallastown without anchoring a few shows.
If you can't tell from the content of this week's post, there wasn't much that happened. The big thing that went down last week will be posted on my Instagram, so check in there after reading!
I know this one was very unorganized, and I thank you for sticking around and reading it anyway. Don't forget to become a member on the Spaces By Wix app to keep up with me on the go!
