Graduation Stress

If you've haven't noticed, I haven't been posting as much as I did back in August when this first started. I've sat and thought about why that could be, and I feel like I should tell you guys.
I've been feeling a bit out of it for the past month or so, mentally, at least. With college applications and scholarships being at the top of my list, along with my part time job, school, and keeping up with my personal life, things have just been getting to be a lot on my mind. I also haven't really been doing anything that exciting that's post-worthy, and I've noticed that traffic on my site has been going down. A lot.
I'm still going to keep up with the blog and post every week, I think I just have to find content to talk about. It's nice knowing that I have an audience, even if it's really only 3 people.
The main focus of this week's post was to highlight that a chapter of my life is really coming to an end, and it's closing pretty fast. With new endings comes new beginnings, yes, but that sometimes also means that it's a time to sit back and reflect on things. Starting something completely new can cause stress, but it's still important to not let it control your decisions. Make the choices that you want to make, not the ones that are being pushed onto you.
I had to withdraw my application from Syracuse to submit a different one for a different decision date. I didn't want to, and yeah I'm kind of scared I won't be able to attend now, but I know that things will work out how they're supposed to. I still have the 4 other acceptances in my belt, and more are coming.
Hey, maybe I'll even get a decent scholarship and I'll be able to go to New York in August.
The past month might have been mentally exhausting, but next week's post will make up for that: I'm going to DC on the 27th with my best friend to see my favorite band: Chase Atlantic. (My mom's coming, too) The rest of my outfit comes in next week, so there won't be a post next week. Instead, I'm going to combine next week and the week after into one big one - to make up for the tiny ones I've been posting.
That was all I had for this week.
