Hey guys! If you're up to date with the blog's Instagram, then you know that I ended up losing my laptop's charger so I wasn't able to update the blog last week. I found an extra charger lying around, so you get two posts this week! Both are being uploaded while I'm in school on a Monday; I didn't get to bed until way past midnight last night, so I had to wait a day.
Anyway, as the title suggests, I have my driver's test this week! I'm scared and nervous our of my mind, but I have confidence that I will pass on my first try. I'm not concerned about my parallel parking, or anything, I'm just nervous because I've had my permit since last year. I got into a bit of a fender bender while I was learning how to drive, and with my dad constantly telling me that I could have killed someone whenever I mess up my driver's anxiety has been through the roof. I've gotten better, but if I pass I'm officially legal to be on the road. The only thing I'm missing is my own car, but we're working on that.
Secondly, as stated in the title, I have fond a new independent study project that will take over my original one: the blog!
I have so many ideas on what I can do for this blog, it kind of slipped my mind when I was stressing out trying to find another project. The website is going to be the main focus, but don't be surprised if you check on Instagram and find that there's now YouTube channel or a podcast...or both.
I really like journalism and journaling, it's the entire point on why I started this. I left my video club and no longer anchor for the morning announcements (I'm doing at least a week worth of shows before I leave, though) and it's got me missing it. It may not be for a live audience, but it's still an audience nonetheless. I'm working on a script at the moment for a potential video, and I'm also thinking on how to include another app into all of this.
No spoilers, sorry guys.
That was really all I had for this post. As always, thank you for reading, and check back next week!
